Course Description
“Introduction to Building Automation Systems (BAS)” looks at the role of BAS in managing HVAC systems, in addition to the essential codes and standards that govern it. “BAS Design and Lifecycle Management” covers the architecture of BAS and the major factors to consider when incorporating BAS into a building’s design. It also addresses the lifecycle of BAS projects and the future of BAS design and lifecycle management. “Office Space HVAC Design” explores HVAC systems in an office space and explains how they work. “Cleanroom HVAC/BAS Design” covers cleanroom environments, classifications, and the design principles for cleanroom HVAC systems. It looks at cleanroom contamination control strategies and the three main approaches to the design and implementation of BAS.
Who Will Benefit
Building engineers, facility managers, HVAC technicians, design engineers, and architects involved in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Building Automation Systems (BAS) will benefit from this course. It is especially useful for those looking to understand the role of BAS in managing HVAC systems and the codes and standards governing its use. It is also valuable for professionals responsible for building environment control and efficiency.
