Course Description
In this course, you’ll learn how to create, customize, and configure Command-Driven Equipment Modules (EMs) in DeltaV for improved process automation. We start with Creating EM Classes & Adding CMs, where you’ll define equipment behavior and integrate Control Modules (CMs) for enhanced functionality. Then, we explore Custom Parameters for Command-Driven EMs, focusing on how to fine-tune process control for precision and flexibility. Finally, we cover Configuring a Sequential Function Chart (SFC) for a CommandDriven EM, where you’ll learn to construct SFCs that enhance process reliability and safety.
Who Will Benefit
DeltaV control engineers, automation developers, and system integrators will benefit from this course. It is particularly valuable for professionals responsible for designing and maintaining equipment modules using structured, state-based control logic in DeltaV environments.
