Course Description
The first module, Authentication vs. Authorization, explores the core concepts of user authentication and authorization within DeltaV™. It discusses the various types of user accounts and passwords, including DeltaV™-specific and Active Directory accounts. The Fundamentals of DeltaV™ Security module looks at the practical aspects of security management in DeltaV™. Starting with the user creation process, it covers the protocol for one-time passwords and how access is granted and revoked. It also explores the Locks and Keys concept in DeltaV™.
